Testing 1-2-3

Hello Mysterious Cyberfellows,

After long shunning this forum known as the blog, I'm embarking on one myself.

I'm a knittin' fool. I have a few friends who are knitters, but can they come over and ooh and ahh every day? Nope. My roommates are a boyfriend who's terribly goodnaturedly tolerant of this habit o' mine, maybe even sometimes enthusiastic (when he receives the fruits of my labors), and a kitten named Wally who most certainly enjoys the fact that I knit, less on aesthetic grounds and more on yarn's-a-fun-toy grounds.

My mother taught me to knit when I was 15. I've been knitting ever since, but it only seems to get more enjoyable and addicting.

I love all types of knitting, but lately I've been getting into lace. And socks. And gloves. After being a mostly sweater-knitter for a long while, I'm discovering the freshness of little projects. Once I get even an inkling of getting bored with a project, it's done.

I'm hoping to get a little gallery up soon of past and current projects.

In my other life I'm a first-year law student (which proves very pesky as concerns knitting productivity). Speaking of which, off to read...
